A place.
A feeling.

The familiar gold. The actual places.
A more expressive rhythm of photographs, generous lettering and movement.
The idea
Euphoria is a family of places where a meal becomes an evening.
A full-screen photographic carousel preserves the immersive arrival of the current Euphoria website. The original gold wordmark sits over a single edge-to-edge image. The sequence moves from Fabrica de Bere, to Biergarten, to Music Hall, with venue information and controls along the bottom edge. Further down, a large venue index gives each place its own image and atmosphere. The page moves from arrival, to choosing a place, to food, to the last song.
The gold introduction keeps its headline clear and gives a genuine shared-table scene its own large photograph. A waiter serving friends on the Fabrica de Bere terrace makes the idea visible; a factual caption identifies the place. On desktop the image crosses into the venue section, while on phone it follows the headline without cropping away the table. The food chapter now takes a slower pace: a bakery detail opens to show the hand and peel, then becomes a small supporting print beside a finished dish. The evening passage moves from terrace to pub to Music Hall, with the final opening centred on the performer. Near the close, a crop of the original logo’s spiral carries the identity forward. This is a new composition with its own pace, built around Euphoria’s identity and photographs.
The colours

The lettering
A substantial serif gives the large compositions character and a slower, more considered voice.
Clear, practical lettering for descriptions, addresses, menus and booking actions.
Each headline keeps one typeface, weight and upright style throughout. Emphasis comes from composition, line breaks and selective colour, without switching fonts for individual words.
The movement
Room, garden, stage
Each photograph fills the first viewport. Horizontal slide changes shift the image within its frame; on vertical scroll, the photograph moves more slowly than the page while the next section enters naturally. The hero leaves through ordinary vertical scrolling. Lenis eases mouse and trackpad scrolling at every viewport width, including narrow desktop panels; touch stays native. Use the arrows, drag with a mouse, swipe on touch, or use the arrow keys; the counter and venue actions follow the selected place. The adjacent title, note and counter animate when their copy changes.
Each place answers
Hover or select a venue name to reveal its photograph with a directional wipe. Use Enter or Space with a keyboard, or tap on a phone; menu and reservation actions follow the choice. The changing name, address and counter reveal with a short text wipe.
Good things take time
In Gust Autentic, two ordinary reading beats sit beside a sticky desktop composition. A close bakery view opens to reveal the hand, peel and loaves while the upright word “timp.” holds its place. The bakery recedes into a supporting print and a burger portrait advances beside it. These are separate expressions of the kitchen’s care, not a photographed recipe transformation. On narrow or short screens, the copy and photographs follow a natural reading order.
A meal becomes an evening
The new evening passage carries the frame from terrace to pub to Music Hall. Its line rolls from “Mai stăm la masă.” to “Mai stăm la povești.” and finally “Mai stăm o piesă.”, with the venue label changing alongside it. A narrow opening reveals the performer before widening across the audience. Programme and reservation actions remain available, and Seri live reaches the complete concert scene directly. The still layout keeps the final Music Hall composition without the scroll hold.
Headlines arrive with purpose
Complete headline lines rise through their masks in direct response to scroll position, then return as you scroll back. Each line keeps the same upright typeface. The footer wordmark rises into view; hover responses stay independent. Buttons fill with a short gold/ink wipe, arrows move with the action, and photo windows zoom gently without interfering with their scroll layers.
Locally bundled GSAP + ScrollTrigger coordinate the scenes, with Lenis for desktop wheel easing. No runtime CDN is needed. The concept respects the device’s reduced-motion setting. The footer control, “Oprește animațiile”, also lets the viewer switch the movement off. Every important action remains available in the still version.
The references
A recognizable brand and mascot lead into image-based choices. The lesson is continuity between a restaurant’s identity and the way its site behaves.
Distinctive lettering at architectural scale, followed by large imagery revealed through scrolling. A reference for proportion and pace.
A purple collage built from the restaurant’s own cultural world. A reference for composing layers that belong to the brand.
For the current storytelling pass, The Drake / Locomotive informed the connection between dining and culture; Khufu’s / MONARQ informed the progression into an evening identity; and Mister Pio’s recorded image reveal informed the detail-to-context principle. Euphoria’s specific photographic crops, typography and scroll sequence are its own adaptation. The expanding venue-detail transition considered during research remains future work.
These three live sites were visually reviewed. Their assets, characters and palettes are not used in this concept. They are references from the Awwwards research; Euphoria’s concept has no award claim.
